EMCOR Group, Inc., Norwalk, CT, announced that one of its subsidiaries, Ohmstede, Ltd., Beaumont, TX, has acquired Redman Equipment  Manufacturing Company, Torrance, CA, a privately held aftermarket heat exchanger services provider.
EMCOR believes the purchase will bolster Ohmstede's "single point of responsibility" solutions program for heat exchanger repair, maintenance, and fabrication.

Heat exchanger repair and related equipment repairs will be handled through multi-year contracts, and will include heat exchanger shop repair, maintenance service, new eqipment and replacement part, specialty callout repair turnaround services and embedded specialty maintenance contracts.
