Daikin at 2018 AHR Expo

At the 2018 AHR Expo showcase, Daikin and Daikin Applied introduced new innovations for residential and commercial HVAC contractors.

Daikin introduced a variety of new HVAC solutions at the 2018 AHR Expo show, including the new VRV LIFE™ System, a versatile VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) residential system optimized to efficiently heat and cool homes.

Other new Daikin VRV products include the VRV T-Series Water Cooled Condensing Unit and the Daikin VRV Aurora air-cooled system.

Doug Widenmann, vice president, sales planning for Daikin, said Daikin was making clear its commitment to the North American HVAC market. It employees 67,000 employees around the globe, and is a true global manufacturer.

"You can see the major investments we’ve made in North America, starting with McQuay and Goodman acquisitions. Daikin is the first manufacturer to develop VRV locally in the U.S. And Aurora is the first VRV product of its type, providing 100 percent heating capability down to 0F, and 60 percent heating capability down to -16F."
