Rheem at 2018 AHR Expo

This was a special AHR Expo for Rheem, in that for the first time, its entire family of brands was represented at a single event.

Lindsey Ford, manager of communications and events for Rheem visited the Informa booth during 2018 AHR Expo.

Ford said that this year, the message from Rheem was "unity," in that the team was displaying all brands together at one event: Rheem, Emax, HTPG and Raypak. 

"All of those brands are showing new commercial products, so it's an exciting renaissance for Rheem, to have new commercial products available to customers across our entire family of brands," Ford said.

"One is Triton, a new, high efficiency commercial water heater. It's designed for easy retrofits, and has many smart features and very high quality materials built into it."

Ford said Rheem's smart product innovations must be very approachable for HVAC contractor and plumber customers.

"That's why our Innovation Learning Centers include virtual reality training and tablets," she explained. "We are updating our contractor app with more features so that contractors can understand the products from their side and learn about it in an app format, and we hope that makes them make them more comfortable when they're selling smart products to consumers who want to be able to use more technology."
