    Kent Hiland has been appointed president of Emerson Climate Technologies Latin America. He is responsible for supporting Emerson, Copeland, and White-Rodgers offerings in the region.

    Hiland has been with Emerson Climate Technologies for 27 years. He's served as vice president of Emerson Climate Technologies Latin America since 1995.

    Calmac CEO Mark MacCracken has been selected as chair of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Board of Directors for the 2011 calendar year. MacCracken is also serving as director in the energy services seat.

    Kevin McNamara has been named vice president of Commercial Air Conditioning for LG Electronics USA. McNamara brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role at LG, and will be responsible for managing and leading LG's commercial, residential, and applied air conditioning business in the U. S.

    Darren Gibula has been appointed operations director for LG Commercial Air Conditioning, reporting to McNamara.

    Emily Saving and Stephanie Lingofelter have joined the team at the Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI), Columbus, OH. Saving is responsible for the research, course design, implementation, and evaluation of all programs and classes added to HARDI's training and education catalog.

    Lingofelter helps HARDI members maximize the membership tools and advantages available to them, and manages the growth and retention of HARDI’s various memberships.
