Arzel Zoning Awards NATE Scholarship to Ohio Student

Arzel Zoning Technology, Inc., Cleveland, OH, has selected Ronald Prijatel as the recipient of its NATE testing scholarship. Ronald is a second year student at the Auburn Career Center, pursuing a degree in heating and cooling.
Prijatel was awarded the Arzel scholarship for holding the highest average in the program. He is currently a technician for Grace Geothermal in Painesville, OH and will continue to work there after
graduation.
Prijatel took the NATE core test on May 10, which covered basic math, customer relations, and fundamentals of electricity, heat transfer, and comfort.
This was the first year the Auburn Center’s program included NATE certification into the curriculum and held NATE testing for students.
The Auburn Career Center is a skill development and career preparation center that offers students challenging opportunities in its current and continuously improving programs. “The Auburn Center believes in the NATE exam and recognizes the importance of having students certified prior to graduation from the program,” says Wayne Reed, HVAC Training Coordinator for the Auburn Center.
“NATE certification identifies technicians as having a standard of excellence in the industry which is how we want our students known after completing the program.”
This is the first year Arzel Zoning Technology, Inc. offered a scholarship for the NATE core test. Arzel promotes education as a way to create better business opportunities and was impressed by the Auburn Career Center’s education programs which focus on skill development, hands-on technical experience along with academically intensive courses.
