Carrier Corporation, Syracuse, NY is offering HVAC technicians a convenient and affordable way to prepare for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification.
Carrier’s new NATE Core Exam Online Prep Course is designed around topics found on the actual NATE core exam. Carrier says the prep course is suited for both first-time certifying technicians and NATE-certified technicians required to re-certify every five years.
The web-based program covers four main areas: electricity, motors, HVAC and customer relations, with an emphasis on electricity and motors. Exam candidates can study content, browse reviews, and take practice final exams through an Internet connection.
The price, $29, provides unlimited access to the program for two full weeks.
Carrier offers more than 470 credit hours in NATE-recognized technical training.
