White-Rodgers Offers Univeral Replacement Kit
The new White-Rodgers Single Stage HSI Integrated Furnace Kit ¬— model number 50M56U-843 is intended to serve as a universal replacement kit for virtually all White-Rodgers and competitive single stage carbide and nitride HSI systems. Designed with installation in mind, this kit includes everything contractors need for quick and accurate replacement, including a universal replacement nitride ignitor, a color-coded thermostat connection label, multiple quick-select/quick-connect wiring harnesses, installation instructions and OEM cross-references. The Single-Stage HSI Furnace Kit allows contractors to simplify their inventory and installations by stocking one kit for most systems because it replaces both 80V and 120V ignitor applications. It also offers diagnostic assistance with features like fault recall, a red LED light used for diagnostic flash codes and a cover label that displays the diagnostic table.

Based on the same award-winning design as the company’s Revolution Series vertical packaged models, the new combination unit uses an innovative multi-positional cabinet that’s field convertible to upflow/downflow with right or left return. The unit is available in sizes from two to six tons and features enhanced heating and cooling efficiencies (4.8 COP and 27.9 EER on three ton models, part load) compared to the previous generation. Bosch Greenstar™ Series Boilers Offer 98.7% Efficiency
Bosch Thermotechnology North America announced the addition of six new ultra-efficient wall mounted condensing boilers to its Thermotechnology line of products.
The Bosch Greenstar™ series, available in configurations ranging from 57.2 to 151.6 MBH, uses condensing technology.
According to company sources, the condensing boilers can offer efficiency levels of up to 98.7%. Bosch Heatronic III, a device integrated into the base of the boiler, provides instant access to the hot water and heating controls, and a removable front panel provides direct access to the boiler’s heat cell. A plug-in diagnostics module streamlines the unit’s serviceability.

AHI Technologies Introduces Tankless Water Heater Using ½-inch Gas Supply
AHI Technologies has added AHG-T42 to its gas tankless water heater line. Unlike standard ¾-in. gas supply lines for whole house or light commercial applications on the market, the AHG-T42 is the only model on the market that fits the standard ½-in. natural or propane gas supply line in most homes, significantly decreasing installation costs, company sources say. The AHG-T42 doesn’t take up much space, yet it provides unlimited hot water on demand. The AHG-T42 can be used for supplemental water heating needs such as commercial dish washing.

Taco 1900 VFD Pumps Enhance Building Efficiency
Taco’s 1900 VFD close-coupled, in-line pumps with integrated variable frequency drives are designed to enhance pump and building efficiency. The single- or three-phase 1900 VFD line greatly increases energy efficiency and building comfort, sources say.
Taco 1900 VFD pumps are available in five basic models ranging in size from 1-1/2-in. x 1-1/2-in. to 2 x 2-in. with a flow range of 10 to 250 GPM, and head capability to 160-ft. Rear, pull-out design allows servicing of the pump without disturbing the piping.
The 1900 VFDs can be installed anywhere in the piping layout. They are self-supported by system piping, requiring no additional strapping or external support. Each can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
