    Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has announced the names of the most recent recipents of RSES Cerfificate Member (CM) status.

    Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has announced the names of the most recent recipents of RSES Cerfificate Member (CM) status.

    The new CM recipients are Scott Olah, Southwest Florida Chapter, Fort Myers, FL; and Leonard C. Kinnison, of the Oregon Member at Large Chapter.

    To become a CM, the RSES member must first pass a rigorous examination that tests the knowledge required to install and service refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. CM-level members are recognized industry-wide as having achieved a superior level of HVACR knowledge. The RSES CM exam is based heavily on theory and practical applications. rses.org

    Unifed Group Welcomes Legends Mechanical as New Member
    The Unified Group, Broadview, IL, has selected Legend’s Mechanical, Baton Rouge, LA for membership in the business support organization.

    Legend’s will join more than 55 commercial HVAC member contractors, and will serve as the association’s Southern Louisiana member.

    NASCSP Joins BPI’s Green Jobs Connection Initiative
    The Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) and the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) announced a partnership to promote BPI’s Green Jobs Connection.

    The Green Jobs Connection is an initiative that will connect BPI certified workers now employed in the federal Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) to jobs within BPI’s network of private home performance contractors. BPI will actively promote the site to the broader home performance industry, to maximize networking possibilities for weatherization workers and contracting companies. BPI-certified professionals are invited to post their resumes on BPI’s Green Jobs Connection website, at http://www.bpi.org/greencollar.aspx
