• HEAT Library Provides Digital HVACR Instruction

    July 1, 2009
The HVACR Education and Training Library (HEAT) has just been launched. It will provide digital training, webinars, and more.

The HVACR Education and Training Library has debuted at HEATlibrary.com.

The library exists to provide digital training aids, training calendars, forums, webinars and more to HVACR professionals.

"This is a culmination of more than three years of development and consulting with HVACR and plumbing industry education providers. It is a place where you can access education materials as well as a resource for expanding your education programs. You can also share any training materials you may have developed, at a profit," says Lawrence Drake, president of Teal International Corp., Loveland, CO. The library is a division of Teal International.

Drake adds that the library will grow as materials are added by members. "It's a resource that will be built by the industry, for the industry," Drake says.

The HEAT Library contains training calendars, forums, webinars, and more, in an effort to make additional HVACR and plumbing available to the industry.

The site will accept almost any digital file. Members can upload e-books, videos, webinars, word documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations, and more. They can also upload a link to their own server if they would prefer to keep everything in-house.

    Visit HEATlibrary.com for additional information.
