Luxaire Heating and Air Conditioning is taking the field again this summer -- teaming up with Minor League Baseball as part of the company’s 2004 co-marketing program. The partnership between Luxaire and Minor League Baseball offers Luxaire dealers and distributors game sponsorship packages that help support the company’s three-year commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Minor League Baseball component of the 2004 co-marketing program includes a Luxaire-sponsored Make-A-Wish® night at a minor league ballpark, complete with exclusive presenting rights for the game, promotional announcements prior to the game, welcome and thank you messages on the stadium scoreboard or message center and outfield signage. The game sponsorships provide additional opportunities for banners, tickets and hospitality picnics for guests of Luxaire, pre-game ceremonies recognizing the Make-A-Wish Foundation, branded souvenir items, on-field contests, hospitality events, display booths and on-field fundraising.

“ The 2004 Minor League Baseball season follows a successful 2003 season that saw attendance pass the 39 million mark and go down in the records book as the second largest attendance in the 102-year history of the sport,” said Doug Widenmann, Luxaire brand marketing director. “Statistics like that make Minor League Baseball games the perfect venue for our dealers and distributors to get out into their local communities, promote the Luxaire brand, support their local Make-A-Wish chapters and have some fun in the process.”

Last summer, Luxaire distributors involved approximately 100 dealers in Minor League Baseball game sponsorships, most designed in part to raise awareness about local Make-A-Wish chapters. Wish kids participated as honored guests and had the opportunity to open games with a ceremonial first pitch, gather autographs from baseball players and enjoy the event with family and friends.

This year’s preliminary schedule includes these participating distributors and Minor League Baseball teams, with games benefiting distributors’ local Make-A-Wish chapters:
