• Modine Names Wollenberg VP of Global Engineering

    Scott Wollenberg will assume the duties of vice president, global engineering, a newly established position at Modine.

    Modine Manufacturing Company, Racine, WI, has promoted Scott D. Wollenberg to the newly-established position of vice president of global engineering.

    In this new, officer level position, reporting to Modine President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Burke, Wollenberg retains his responsibility for the company's global product engineering and research for its vehicular thermal management and other original equipment offerings, as well as for its global research and product planning processes. In addition, he will continue to support the research activities associated with Modine's commercial HVAC business segment.

    "Scott Wollenberg joined Modine as an applications engineer in 1992 and has continued to demonstrate outstanding technical and business leadership ever since," says Burke.     Wollenberg is an 18-year Modine veteran. After joining Modine in 1992 as an applications engineer, he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible engineering and product management positions, including regional product manager and managing director for the company's Engine Products Group, while based in Bonlanden, Germany. He was named Global Engineering Director, Engine and Powertrain Cooling Products in 2009.
