    The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) will launch three educational tracks and three training programs at Indoor Environments 2003, being held at the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, March 4-8.

    The three educational tracks encompass commercial, residential, and business operations.

    The three intensive training programs are:

    • A two-day program for certified air systems cleaning specialists interested in receiving a certification in ventilation system mold remediation, the program will begin with an understanding of basic microbiology and cover topics on safety, project planning, cleaning and verification. This program includes a certification exam.
    • A one-day course focusing on containment. The program will provide attendees with hands-on experience with building effective containments for HVAC systems and will include the proper use and care of respirators and protective equipment.
    • The final training program will consist of NADA training and certifying its first class of HVAC system inspectors. The HVAC inspectors course will include how to conduct an IAQ inspection, analyzing commercial building systems, and basic measurement techniques and diagnostics.
