Pump Training Coming to Seattle and Long Beach

A comprehensive pump training course, including pump application, selection, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, is being offered October 1-3 in Seattle, WA and November 12-14 in Long Beach, CA. Topics covered in the course include basic and advanced hydraulic principles, pump selection and sizing, pump system design and analysis, energy savings in pump selection and operation, positive displacement pumps, sealing systems, start-up, trouble-shooting, maintenance, and repair, and using computer software to select pumps or to design or analyze systems Course instructor Michael Volk has been a pump consultant for the past 20 years. He is the author of Pump Characteristics and Applications, published in 1996 and now in its sixth printing. The registration fee for the three-day course is $900.
