    Tom Simon is the new vice president of engineering for Ritchie Engineering, Bloomington, MN. Simon will be responsible for managing the company's engineering

    Tom Simon is the new vice president of engineering for Ritchie Engineering, Bloomington, MN. Simon will be responsible for managing the company's engineering organization and all research and development efforts for the entire YELLOW JACKET product line. He will also help to define the company's technology and product strategy.
    Rheem Manufacturing reports that Ian Stewart Farwell is back at the helm at Rheem Maufacturing, having returned to serve as president and chief executive officer of the company, after the resignation of Scott D. Martin.
    Farwell previously served as Rheem’s executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2002, before retiring last summer.
    Mark E. Vernon, president and general manager of Spirax-Sarco Engineering, Inc., Blythewood, SC, has joined the company’s board of directors as a divisional director, effective July 1. He will oversee company activity in North and South America, group marketing in the UK, as well as maintaining his duties as president of SSI.
    Cabot Oglesby has been named director of sales and marketing for MSI HVAC, Fontana, CA.
    John Kelly is the new database manager for Profit Strategies, Inc., Columbus, GA.
    James T. Ryan has been named president of Grainger, Chicago, IL, a leading North American industrial distributor.
    Laars Heating Systems Company, Rochester, NH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bradford White Corporation, has appointed Brian J. Iske to the position of director of engineering.
    Ben Arther is the new midwest account executive for AirAdvice, Inc, Portland, OR.
    Jeff Evans has joined Equiguard, Oak Brook, IL, as vice president, sales and marketing for North America.
    Boss Facility Services, Ronkonkoma, NY, has added Jeff Guyton to its sales team. Guyton will lead the company's business development department, and focus mainly on national accounts.
    Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Suwanee, Ga., has added three new staff members:
    Brent Johnson joins the Product Development Group as the City Multi® controls engineer. In his new position, Johnson will be responsible for expanding the City Multi Controls Network (CMCN).
    John P. Rees joins Mitsubishi Electric HVAC as regional sales manager for Southern California.
    David Hazel is Mitsubishi Electric HVAC’s new northeast region area manager. Hazel will work with distribution branches and territory managers to train and build the Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer base in the New England and Metro New York regions.
    Frank D. Pulaski has been appointed to head commercial refrigeration efforts in North America for Danfoss, a global leader in supplying components, controls, compressors and systems for air-conditioning and refrigeration.
    In his new role, Pulaski will direct Danfoss’s growth in sales of components and compressors to American commercial refrigeration markets
    Terry Downes is executive vice president of corporate development for Thermadyne, St. Louis, MO. He was also named to Thermadyne’s executive leadership team. His responsibilities will include streamlining and expediting customer ordering and shipping.
    Ron Bernstein is the new executive director of LonMark International, Frankfurt, Germany. He replaces Barry Haaser, who is the new senior business director of Echelon Corp.’s Lonworks Infrastructure.
    Rapid Engineering, Comstock Park, MI, has named Bruce Bellamy vice president of sales and marketing. Bellamy will oversee sales and marketing efforts, and personnel for Rapid’s Air Management and Process Equipment divisions.
