• RSES Releases NATE Exam Preparation CD

    Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) announced the release of "Air Distribution," the first title in the "Preparing for the NATE Exam Instructor CD" series. The series of CDs is designed to help RSES Chapters and HVACR instructors prepare students for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Air Distribution exam.

    Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) announced the release of "Air Distribution," the first title in the "Preparing for the NATE Exam Instructor CD" series. The series of CDs is designed to help RSES Chapters and HVACR instructors prepare students for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Air Distribution exam.

    It uses Microsoft PowerPoint software and allows educators to conduct two- to eight-hour review sessions. The CD contains a complete overview of all materials covered in the "Preparing for the NATE Exam: Air Distribution" study book.

    The CD features more than 450 slides, as well as answers to all review questions. Topics covered include: gas and oil furnaces; air conditioning and heat pumps; controls and control systems; duct systems; duct fabrication — including duct-fabrication equipment, fabrication techniques for metal duct and ductboard, metal-duct installation, and flexible duct; air flow measurement; design considerations; system analysis; and more.
