Sanyo HVAC Extends Compressor Warranty to Six Years

Sanyo HVAC, Chatsvorth, CA, says it will extend the warranty period for its high efficiency compressors that use Cooleron R-410A refrigerant. The new warranty is six years on the compressor and one-year on parts.
Sanyo says the decision to extend the warranty was based on the high level of reliability it has seen in its newly-redesigned line of air conditioning and heat pump products with Cooleron.
According to the company, the compressors’ inverter technology provides efficient, rapid cooling and heating capacity due to the variable compressor rotation speed. As soon as the desired temperature is reached, it automatically adjusts current frequency temperature fluctuation. The gradual starting and stopping contributes to the long life of the compressor, and the continuous operation of the inverter technology also contributes to energy efficiency due to the prevention of frequent changes in capacity.
