The Contracting Business HVAC Comfortech RoadShow series ended its 2007 run in May, playing to a packed house in Milwaukee. More than 100 HVAC business owners, managers, distributors, and sponsors attended the one-day session to interact with each other and gain knowledge from some of the industry's top professionals.
Helping to make the last RoadShow of the year a big success, was Gustave A. Larson Company, Milwaukee, WI. The local distributor, understanding the value of the event, registered more than 60 of its contractor customers to attend the event.
The esteemed slate of speakers included the legendary Matt Michel, president/CEO of The Service Roundtable, who gave the keynote address. Michel spoke of inspiration and the tremendous amount of passion we all have for succeeding in — and improving — the HVAC industry.
The day also featured inspiring and educational presentations from Don Kardux, president of Business Navigators, Toledo, OH; Bill Raymond, owner of Frank and Lindy Plumbing, Heating and AC, Peekskill, NY; and John O'Connor, president of O'Connor’s One Hour Heating and AC, Hastings, MN.
In between the speakers' presentations, attendees were able to spend time networking and visiting the the sponsor tables.
The 2007 Comfortech RoadShow series, opened up in February in Dallas, then stormed through Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; King of Prussia, PA; Columbus, OH; and finally Milwaukee.
Currently, a new slate of cities is being planned for stops in the 2008 Comfortech RoadShow series, so if it didn't come to your area this year, be on the lookout for next year's schedule and keep an eye on www.comfortechroadshows.com for updates.
