Syska Hennessy Group Joins Green Grid

Syska Hennessy Group, a consulting, engineering, technology and construction firm, has joined The Green Grid, a worldwide, non-profit consortium of technology companies and professionals, whose goal is to reduce power consumption in data centers.

Syska Hennessy's Critical Facilities Team designs building systems for trading floors, emergency rooms, data centers and intelligent warehouses, and hopes to help broaden discussions related to energy saving building techniques among other Green Grid members.

"Reliability and sustainability need not be at odds with each other, but reliability is always paramount," says Cyrus Izzo, co-CEO of Syska Hennessy Group, and its national critical facilities director.

"Peak performance in critical facilities requires global best practices in consulting, engineering, technology, and construction. Our philosophy when designing and constructing a project is to consider all elements, with a balanced approach, that contribute to uptime, and ensure the greatest energy efficiency," Izzo says.
