Here are a few tips to stay on top of your company’s goals through leadership:
1. Encourage your team. One of the things most employees complain about is lack of feedback or praise. Give them what they crave to keep the day-to-day going.
2. Coach after calls. I’ve written an article before on the power of one-on-one coaching and it is so invaluable. Smaller businesses have the luxury of this ability and should fully utilize it — especially in the busy seasons.
3. Keep employees in the loop. Company performance should be every employee’s business. Knowing how the company is performing will help paint a picture of the fruits of everyone’s labor — and keep morale afloat.
