Uponor Wirsbo, Apple Valley, MN, a provider of life, safety, and comfort systems, unveiled the latest program for its Home Comfort Team (HCT) members at its recent HCT Convention in Las Vegas. The Wirsbo Advantage program includes assistance with advertising, access to consumer financing, a lead program, discounts on the new design program, and special promotions for Wirsbo Advantage members. "The Wirsbo Advantage program is a way for Wirsbo to help its HCTs find success with radiant floor heating," says Cindy Albrecht, customer relations manager. "The program is designed for HCT members who want to improve their marketing, business and installation techniques." Approximately 200 contractors from around the country attended the second annual HCT meeting at the Rio Hotel and Casino. The convention was designed to offer education, information, and fun to Wirsbo's Home Comfort Team members. HCT members are radiant professionals who are factory trained in the installation of Wirsbo Radiant Floor Heating systems. "We're thrilled with the response to our convention, " says John Barba, National Training Manager. "We value our Home Comfort Team members and this was a great opportunity for us to catch up with one another and learn from industry leaders.” This year's convention included presentations from This Old House plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey discussing radiant retrofits, and nationally known speaker Larry Steinmetz, who provided valuable insight on pricing strategies. Uponor Wirsbo manufactures PEX tubing used in radiant floor heating, snow and ice melting, plumbing and fire safety systems. For more information, visit www.wirsbo.com.
