Johnson Controls’ York® brand of heating and air conditioning products will sponsor a "Mapping Your Success" training program for up to 200 HVAC contractors on September 13 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD.
Scheduled to coincide with the beginning of ComforTech 2006, York Business Day offers contractors the opportunity to arrive a day early for ComforTech and take advantage of this latest offering from York’s Business Training University (BTU) and a team of highly regarded consultants in the HVAC industry.
Participants in the program are invited to attend four sessions beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Topics and speakers for the event include:
    - Hiring, Training and Rewarding Co-workers by Dick Harshaw, president of Lodestar Consulting Systems
    - Cash Flow Management by Ron Collier, president of Collier Consulting Group
    - Maximizing Retail Sales by Tom Piscitelli, president of Applied Learning Associates, Inc.
    - Planning Your Growth by Gary Elekes, president of EPC Inc.
During the lunch break, Mark Matteson, president of Pinnacle Service Group, will deliver a
keynote message titled Mapping Your Success – Charting the Path to Financial Independence.
The daylong training event is free to participants. HVAC contractors who are interested in attending the program should get in touch with their nearest York brand distributor or go online to register at www.b-there.com/arm/yorkbusinessday2006.
“This is the fourth year that we have offered contractors who are planning to attend ComforTech the opportunity to extend their stay and participate in a meaningful series of presentations,” says Jeff Revlett, Johnson Controls manager, sales training. “Taken together, these four presentations support the independence of our contractors and work with BTU’s factory-delivered field schools, business development training, hands-on residential and commercial training, customized on-site group classes and electronic materials available online to provide contractors with the tools they need to succeed.”
York BTU is a continuing education program that equips York brand dealers and distributors with the services, materials and training they need to remain independent and successful in the competitive HVAC industry.
