Cambridge Engineering Expands Vertical Heating and Ventilation Products

    March 15, 2017
Cambridge Engineering wants to make replacing old, inefficient units as easy as possible.

At the 2017 AHR Expo, Cambridge Engineering announced it is now offering both vertical and horizontal configurations for the entire Cambridge Engineering line of S-Series space heaters as well as M-Series make-up air units. The product are used to heat and ventilate large commercial and industrial spaces.

Horizontal versions of these HTHV (high temperature heating and ventilation) units have been offered for many years, and vertical units in some sizes have been as well. This year Cambridge has launched a new focus on the retrofit HVAC market, and they want to make replacing old, inefficient units as easy as possible.

Having more installation options is helpful to HVAC contractors, especially when space is restricted, or when replacing a rooftop unit on an old building that might not be able to handle the weight of a larger unit. In such a case, a contractor now has multiple options such as indoor or outdoor thru-wall installation, in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.
