Comfort Supply Opens Commercial HVAC Department

    Sept. 4, 2014
Bill Baushke and Don Chubb will lead the new commercial department from the company’s flagship store in Nashville, at 305 Arlington Avenue.

Comfort Supply, a leading Tennessee wholesaler of Ruud HVAC products, has created a new department dedicated to the commercial HVAC market, company officials announced today.

“At Comfort Supply we put a big focus on providing our customers with superior products and expert service,” said Billy Jobe, Comfort Supply sales manager. “Creating a department and team devoted to our commercial contractors allows us the time and knowledge to provide them with the expertise they need.”

Bill Baushke, commercial business development manager, and Don Chubb,  inside commercial salesman, will lead the new commercial department from the company’s flagship store in Nashville, located at 305 Arlington Avenue. The department will service all commercial projects near Comfort Supply’s six locations: Nashville, Cookeville, Clarksville, Franklin, Murfreesboro and Knoxville.

“The addition made sense for us,” Baushke says. “We’ve always carried commercial products, but now, with a dedicated commercial team, we’re able to provide our dealers and contractors with quicker turnaround on project quotes; in-stock equipment for replacement or retrofit jobs; expert knowledge of equipment alternates; and, as always, great products.”

Last year, Ruud’s annual report of regional shipments and sales for its commercial products showed 14 percent sales growth for the brand from 2011 to 2013.

“Over the last few years Ruud has expanded its focus on the commercial market and created a commercial department. Known for quality, their commercial equipment is top-notch,” Baushke says.

“Tennessee is booming right now—in fact, it was recently named the 2013 state of the year for economic development by Business Facilities magazine,” Jobe adds. “More companies are expanding and relocating here, so commercial HVAC products are in high demand. We’ve had a good few years and we’re set to do even better this year—we’ve already sold 30% more commercial equipment than we did in 2013.”
