You always have to love when two entities come together and form a fantastic united front.

You always have to love when two entities come together and form a fantastic united front. A consolidating between ASHRAE and the Indoor Air Quality Association, announced at ASHRAE’s 2015 Winter Conference in Chicago, could mean just that.

HPAC Engineering reported that ASHRAE President Tom Phoenix said this opens the door to create high-impact resources for building professionals across the world.

“This is an historic event for both associations and has great promise for growth and development for both organizations,” IAQA President Kent Rawhouser said. “The opportunities and possibilities for members are only limited by our own imaginations.  IAQA and ASHRAE are committed to growing and developing the IAQA brand. The consolidation will open new avenues for programs and benefits for our members.”
