    MCAA Issues Reminders about Extreme Heat Conditions

    Summer work beats winter work, but beware the dangers of extreme heat on the jobsite. MCAA offers some cautionary tips.

    Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) recently issued warnings about exposure to severe summer heat conditions on the jobsite, for pipefitters, service technicians and supervisors.

    The heat illnesses the post describes include heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat syncope, and heat cramps. The post includes ways to prevent each condition.
