Mechanical contracting giant TDIndustries, Dallas, TX, has been named to Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list — the 16th consecutive year the company has received that distinction.

TDIndustries was ranked No. 86 on the survey of 259 firms across America. It previously was ranked 64 on the top 100 list. It is one of 13 companies to be ranked on Fortune’s list since its inception in 1998.

“Fortune’s recognition reflects our deep commitment to our people, our servant leadership culture, and our customers who help to bring out the best in us,” Bob Richards, TDIndustries’ president of Central Texas operations, said in a news release.

Founded in 1946 in Dallas, TDIndustries is a $400 million mechanical construction and facility services company. TDIndustries employees own 100% of the company and meet regularly with the “BUMS,” a company acronym for business unit managers.

In 1995, TDIndustries was named the Contracting Business.com Commercial HVAC Contractor of the Year.
