The Lakeview Manor Incident: Conclusion

The new sports cars were really sweet thought Danny. The silver Carrera GT was an awesome machine, it should be for nearly $450,000. Even with his new windfall Danny would never waste his money on something that outrageous though. He could pick up a nice, new Boxter for around 50K and told the salesman to check around and see what kind of deal he could work out. His spirits now somewhat lifted, he headed over to meet the lawyer for perhaps the most important meeting of his entire life. Well, maybe second most important. The first time he met Liz was tops on his list. It was in college, psychology 101. Her legs were a real killer, and she had sort of a bratty kind of attitude as if to say, “forget it buddy, you got no chance.” But in time, their opposite personalities became intermingled and they were soon inseparable. And now, some 35 years later, nothing had changed.

More often than not, in our industry, there are no ‘set in granite' procedures when it comes to service, installation, and sales. What works for one company or individual, may not work for another. One may choose to follow a certain procedure for diagnosing a problem while another chooses a different method. Neither one is wrong; they're just different.

Many times in our own little worlds, we get caught up in the fact that there are many different ways to arrive at the same conclusion. Take leaks for example. This topic has been bantered about endlessly, and yet, as a group, we cannot agree on a definitive method for leak detection. Now, one tech may use an electronic leak detector, and another may use a mechanical device such as a halide leak detector.
