Friedrich Air Conditioning has announced that Chuck Campbell will join the executive team as vice president, marketing and sales. Campbell will oversee a nationwide sales force as well as product management and marketing.
Prior to joining Friedrich, Campbell was general manager for the commercial dehumidification business of Munters AB, Sweden which also is based in San Antonio, TX. During his 11 years with Munters, he was promoted to vice president and then president of the commercial dehumidification business, and finally to vice president for Munters’ global dehumidification operations.
Before joining Munters, Campbell spent 15 years with General Electric Co. and was eventually promoted to chief operating officer for a joint venture between GE and Fuji Electric of Japan, based in Monterrey, Mexico.
Campbell grew up in Hartford, CT., and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marine engineering at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY. He later earned a Master’s degree in business administration at Penn State University in Erie, PA.
