Johnson Controls will celebrate the grand opening of seven new Source 1 HVAC Supply Centers in Illinois, Michigan and Missouri this fall. Source 1 is the exclusive supplier of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls Unitary Products' residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. The company also offers a broad variety of universal heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) parts, supplies and accessories from many manufacturers.

Stores will open at the following locations:

    • Collinsville, Illinois
    • Sterling heights, Michigan
    • St. Louis (Mid-Town), Missouri
    • Columbia, Missouri
    • Cape Girardeau, Missouri
    • Wentzville, Missouri (relocation/reopening)
    • Earth City, Missouri (relocation/reopening)

"We're thrilled to have these new locations for our customers to get convenient access to HVAC equipment and parts from a team that knows what they need," said Dave Smithey, vice president of branch operations, Source1 HVAC Supply Center. "These centers allow contractors to get in, get what they need and get to the job site, eliminating wait time and improving efficiency and productivity."

In addition to York, Guardian and Source 1 products, the new supply centers will offer products from other industry-leading HVAC manufacturers and a wide array of HVAC test instruments, tools and supplies – everything from gauges, recovery equipment and vacuum pumps to tape, filters and pipe and electrical fittings. The supply centers will give contractors the opportunity to tap into local training programs on York and Guardian equipment as well as HVAC and business fundamentals, such as electricity, refrigeration, heating, financial analysis and sales.

"Through industry experience and training programs, our store teams are experts in HVAC products and know what contractors encounter in the field," said Smithey.

The seven stores are part of a growing number of Source 1 HVAC Supply Centers that Johnson Controls operates in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Michigan.
