Arkema, Inc. has promoted Glenn Haun to director of sales for fluorochemicals in North America
In his expanded role, Glenn Haun will lead the sales efforts for all fluorochemicals products and market segments in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Haun joined the Arkema team in January 2011 as the aftermarket sales manager for the fluorochemicals division. In that role, he has been responsible for developing the strategy and managing all aftermarket sales for Arkema’s Forane refrigerants into the HVACR and automotive industries. As drector of sales, Haun will continue to report to Gary Dee, regional group president for fluorochemicals in the Americas.
“Glenn’s experience in taking a strategic vision and then driving a successful sales strategy will strengthen Arkema’s position in the fluorochemicals industry,” said Dee. “With a proven track record for successfully leading large scale strategic initiatives, Glenn’s leadership skills are well suited to lead Arkema's sales team as we continue to grow in all our market segments,” Dee added.
Haun has 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry and a strong track record in multi-channel sales and marketing. After earning a degree in business, Haun started his career in the HVAC industry as a top performing sales representative for the Trane Company. From there, he progressed through various leadership roles in sales, marketing and general management at Schlumberger Ltd. and later at Air Liquide Group.
