Comfortech 2016: HVAC Fanatics Invade Philly!

Comfortech 2016, at the Philadelphia Convention Center, Sept. 20-22, was once again “where the HVAC Industry Meets.”

This Comfortech focused on some new and popular topics, such as the Internet of Things, building information modeling, smart buildings, the smart/connected home market and smart tools. We discussed these cutting-edge technologies during an Executive Symposium. Plus, there was a new technical education program, covering topics in both residential and light commercial service and installation markets.

Among the presenters and guest speakers: Weldon Long, Todd Buchholz, Mike Agugliaro, Steve Coscia, Ruth King, Joseph Elias Phillips, Tom Krygsheld and Kevin Frump from Illiana Heating & Air Conditioning, Garry Upton and Mark Teich of Decision Analyst, Matt Prazenka, Brigham Dickinson, Jedidiah Bentz, Drew Cameron, Tom Casey, Ed Del Grande, Rob Falke, Stephen Dale, Ruth Ann Davis, Rebecca Gold, Charlie Greer, Thomesena Philen, Rick Hall, Tom Johnson, Eric Kravitz, David Richardson, Heather Ripley, and Rob Yost.

The Women in HVACR Conference was again held in conjunction with Comfortech. Guest speakers included Ruth King, Woman of the Year Tonya Collins, Danielle Putnam, Marjorie McAllister, Julie Decker, Jen Steuber and Marny Lifshen.

Our Extravaganza party, at the Philly Field House was a great time for all, sponsored by Danfoss.
