North American Technician Excellence (NATE) in partnership with APR Supply Co. and OESP are offering free NATE oil furnace and oil hydronics certification testing at the OESP Convention and Trade Show in Hershey, PA, May 19-23.
To help prepare technicians for the tests, there will be a review course on May 21, 2013 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. led by 38-year veteran Eddie Howell of APR Supply Co. OESP Convention attendees may then take for free the NATE oil furnace or oil hydronics specialty certification exam, or may choose to take the NATE Core or another NATE specialty exam for a discounted price of $100 each. The exams are scheduled for May 21, at 1:00 p.m. during the OESP Convention.
NATE is the nation’s largest industry-endorsed, non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) technicians. Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in 11 specialty areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, oil heating, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, commercial refrigeration, light commercial refrigeration, ground source heat pump and senior efficiency analyst.
“Organizations like NATE continue to demonstrate their increasing influence on contractors’ excellence throughout our industry. We are proud and honored to continue to support our industry brethren’s initiatives,” said APR Supply Co. Business Development Manager Ryan Kiscaden.
