OEMs: Turbulators Improve Heat Transfer, System Efficiency

Milwaukee Tool’s new M18 LED Stand Light provides up to 2,000 lumens of light, and has three output modes for optimizing brightness and extending run-time up to 10 hours.

RAE Coils turbulators for water/glycol coils in HVAC systems are designed to improve heat transfer, and therefore the efficiency of HVAC systems using glycol solutions to protect coils from freezing in cold environments. Turbulators are also used to increase heat transfer in water-only systems to cope with the rising cost of energy. They break up or reduce the thickness of the boundary wall, allowing a more turbulent flow of fluids.
