    You Just Can't Miss Comfortech

    Aug. 17, 2015
Comfortech features sessions that educate and inspire business transformation, while delivering insight into the latest trends.

Comfortech 2015 starts in little less than a month — September 15-17 — in St. Louis. If you haven’t made plans to go, there’s still plenty of time. If you don’t think that Comfortech is for you, you’re really missing out.

Comfortech is the only national HVAC, hydronic heating, and plumbing show that is designed exclusively for contractors. Heck, even electrical contractors could pick up business management tips at Comfortech.

Comfortech brings together the latest products, trends and business solutions for industry contractors. You’ll leave as a better contractor.
Comfortech brings together the latest products, trends and business solutions for industry contractors. We like to say that you’ll leave Comfortech well-educated, well-fed and thoroughly entertained. You’ll leave as a better contractor.
This national event features conference sessions that educate and inspire business transformation while delivering insight on the latest industry trends that are impacting business owners and service professionals. They’re literally the smartest guys in the room. We’ll feature, among others, Matt Michel and  Charlie Greer. CPA Mike Bohinc will tell you how to stop your employees from ripping you off. Brigham Dickinson will run a workshop on how to “wow” more customers. Brandon Jacob will tell you how to sell your company or buy a competitor. Mike Agugliaro will highlight the mindset, skill set and action set that will get you the success and freedom you have always wanted. Mike has used it to propel his home service business, Gold Medal Service, into a $23 million a year company. And we all know that some of the best information comes from networking with your fellow contractors in-between sessions.

The seminars and the trade show will be at the Americas Center, a beautiful convention center directly across the street from our headquarters hotel.

The tradeshow floor provides an opportunity for contractors to learn more about the latest products that help them drive business and make you money.

The tradeshow floor provides an opportunity for contractors to learn more about the latest products that help them drive business and make you money. You’ll connect with the manufacturers responsible for developing the tools and solutions that are critical to succeeding with your customers. These vendors are at the show because they are eager to talk to you. In addition to equipment and tools, there are a lot of vendors of software, fleet management, flat rate pricing, accounting and consulting services.

And to make the show floor even more exciting, you’ll be able to test your skills against the clock in our Comfortech Contractor Competition. National Comfort Institute is running our contests for HVAC and hydronics. Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Educational Foundation will conduct our plumbing contest. Prizes will be given out daily.

    And the Keynoters! Holy Smokes!
We have former big league baseball pitcher Jim “The Rookie” Morris. A consummate storyteller, Jim will take the audience through his meteoric, three-month rise from 35-year-old high school teacher to flame throwing major league pitcher. His story made cinematic history with the release of “The Rookie,” a Disney blockbuster movie starring Dennis Quaid, and voted by Sports Illustrated as one of the five greatest baseball films ever made. Jim will guide us on how to become better leaders while chasing our dreams and keeping our promises.

I was blown away watching video of our second keynoter, marketing and consumer trends expert Kelly McDonald. Kelly will show how contractors struggling to differentiate themselves in a “sea of sameness” can grow sales and foster long-term loyalty and brand preference with exceptional and customized customer experiences. Kelly will show you how to market and sell to core customer groups, such as homeowners, commercial building owners, Generations X and Y, men, women, and more.

Finally, as usual, you’ll be entertained. Our Wednesday night Extravaganza is at Morgan Street Brewery. Yes, it’s a brewery. I’ve sampled their wares, and they’re great!
