Canada's Manson Insulation to Manufacture Johns Manville Duct Liner

Johns Manville (JM) announced today that it has signed an agreement to swith Manson Insulation, Inc., Quebec, Canada, for the manufacture of Linacoustic RC fiberglass duct liner.
Manson Insulation will produce Linacoustic RC in strict accordance with Johns Manville’s quality specifications, beginning later this year to meet increased demand by HVAC contractors.
Manson Insulation’s experience with Johns Manville processes was a deciding factor in awarding the company with the production contract.
“Manson Insulation had already licensed Johns Manville’s patented flame-attenuated fiber glass manufacturing process, and could meet our tight manufacturing specifications for the product,” says Tom Ryan, vice president general manager for Johns Manville’s Performance Materials division
Linacoustic RC is manufactured in the U.S. at Johns Manville's Cleburne, TX facility.
