Wayne Vanesse, general manager of ARC Mechanical Contractors, Bradford, VT, has been appointed to the State of Vermont's Apprenticeship Council. Vanesse has more than than seven years of experience as an HVAC/plumbing instructor, and holds four North American Technician Excellence (NATE) service and installation certifications.

Clockwork Home Services, Inc., Sarasota, FL, announced that Lenny Siers will serve as the first ever franchisee-elected president of One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating.® By following the One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating systems and procedures, he has lead the franchise he currently owns and operates in Niceville, FL, to $5.6 million in sales last year, and to Franchise of the Year honors in 2007.

Five franchise groups within The Dwyer Group — Serv, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, and Mr. Rooter — have joined together to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities with a national commitment of $125,000.

Haberberger, Inc., St. Louis, MO, completed two separate projects at AmerenUE's Taum Sauk hydroelectric plant, near Lesterville, MO. Haberberger's responsibilities included welding drain lines inside the dam’s penstock. Additionally, Haberberger installed instrumentation for the dam’s upper reservoir and the power plant. Both projects were supervised by Haberberger Superintendent Clay Buxton and Project Manager Joe Wilhelm.

Bob Labeaume has been promoted to senior industrial estimator at Murphy Company, St. Louis, MO. He will coordinate with Murphy’s Heavy Industrial group in the development of estimates and proposals.
