    Michael W. Shelton, vice president/general manager for Government and Institutional Services of EMCOR Facilities Services, has been named chairman of the executive committee of the Contract Services Association, a leading industry advocacy organization for government services providers. "CSA is highly effective at promoting the use of private contractors for all government entitites," Shelton says. "It is indeed an honor to be selected for leadership of this important organization, at a time when private contracting has become such a critical aspect of our government's delivery of services," Shelton says.

In other EMCOR news, Donald Newell, PE, a senior project manager with EMCOR Services NY/NJ, has been named president of the Mid-Atlantic Environmental Balancing Bureau.
    Newell is a certified energy manager, and a LEED-accredited professional experienced in the engineering and construction of complex HVAC systems for high-tech facilities in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, and specialty manufacturing.
