Lochinvar Mourns Loss of Bruce Morgan

    Nov. 8, 2010
A master plumber, Morgan ran his own business for 28 years.

Bruce Morgan, district sales manager for Lochinvar Corporation in the Western Michigan territory, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2010 while attending an ETNA Supply event.

An integral member of the Lochinvar family since 2006, Bruce received the company's prestigious Salesman of the Year Award in 2008 and was recognized for Outstanding Sales Achievement in 2007 and 2009.

Bruce Morgan began his career in the industry in 1972, earning his Master Plumbers License, working as a mechanical contractor and owning his own business, Flagel & Morgan, from 1978-2006. Upon joining the Lochinvar team, Bruce brought with him an extensive knowledge of all things related to boilers, water heaters, hydronics and plumbing.

Along with Bruce’s years of experience and industry expertise, his outgoing personality helped him build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. This not only earned him countless friends, but it also allowed him to deliver outstanding results. An exemplary employee, Bruce received the Quota Buster Award for excellence in sales achievement in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

"It is with great sadness that the Lochinvar family announces the untimely death of Bruce Morgan," says Jeff Vallett, executive vice president for Lochinvar. "Bruce was an incredible person, and we will always remember his humor, enthusiasm and caring way. Bruce truly loved this industry and the people with whom he associated both within the company and his sales territory of Western Michigan. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Sandy and the entire Morgan family.”
