A. O. Smith names Paul Dana vice president-global product engineering

A. O. Smith Water Products Company, Ashland City, TN, has named Paul R. Dana vice president of global product engineering.
Dana will be responsible for the design, testing, and introduction of new residential and commercial water heating products. In addition, he will oversee the company's Product Engineering Center in McBee, S.C., and will support engineering functions in the United States, Canada, China, and the Netherlands.
Since 1998, Dana has been the plant manager of A. O. Smith Water Products Company's Productos de Agua operations in Juarez, Mexico. In that capacity, he has been responsible for all functional operations of the 265,000 square foot residential water heater facility and has helped to double the plant's output in the last five years.
