    May 9, 2012
More than 1,200 were on hand for sessions and workshops devoted to Niagara and Sedona frameworks.

The 2012 Niagara Summit, described by sources as the definitive gathering of industry professionals and practitioner's delivering smart devices, automation, energy management and device-to-enterprise solutions built around open and interoperability, attracted a record number of attendees and exhibitors.

A global group of over 1200 attendees packed the Red Rock Resort for two and half days to network with the 57 exhibitors, participate in sessions and workshops centered on the enabling capabilities of the Niagara and Sedona Frameworks, and see first-hand, the solutions and applications these technologies are delivering to the market today.

"We had record attendance and are extremely pleased with the enthusiastic support provided by the speakers, exhibitors, industry allies and the Niagara Community who helped to make this event a big success. This year the Summit provided great thought leadership and was well attended both by returning attendees and many newcomers," said Marc Petock, Tridium's vice president, global marketing and communications. The next Niagara Summit takes place in spring of 2014.
