SERVIDYNE, INC. announced that it has been awarded the 2011 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Servidyne, Inc. announced that it has been awarded the 2011 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This is the ninth time Servidyne has been honored as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year, and the second year in a row and the fifth time overall that the Company has received the prestigious Sustained Excellence Award.

"Helping our customers save energy and operate more sustainable buildings is what we do, so to be selected for these high distinctions once again from the thousands of other organizations that participate annually in the ENERGY STAR program is incredibly gratifying," explained Alan R. Abrams, Servidyne's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Our entire team of professionals is excited to receive this public recognition of our expertise and commitment, but being a multi-year honoree does not in any way dull our resolve to seek to get better each year by certifying more and more sustainable buildings. Winning this award again is proof that year after year, the Servidyne team does not rest on past laurels, but rather we 'walk the walk' and earn it."

The ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award is given annually to a select group of organizations that have exhibited an outstanding long-term commitment to energy efficiency. These winners have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by setting and achieving aggressive goals, employing innovative approaches, and showing others what can be achieved through energy efficiency. These awards recognize ongoing leadership across the ENERGY STAR program including energy-efficient products, services, and buildings in the commercial, industrial and public sectors.

"We've been at this for many years, but never has energy efficiency been more important for the planet than today," noted Barry Abramson, Servidyne's Senior Vice President who recently celebrated his 30th year with the Company. "This recognition from EPA acknowledges the dedication and commitment of everyone here at Servidyne to help our customers save energy and make their buildings more sustainable."
"Servidyne has earned EPA's highest ENERGY STAR award - the 2011 Sustained Excellence Award," said Elizabeth Craig, Acting Director of EPA's Office of Atmospheric Programs. "Servidyne's long-term leadership and commitment to energy efficiency demonstrates the types of accomplishments that we can all achieve in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting our global environment. We look forward to their continued partnership and leadership."
