g, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Compensation Committee has promoted AHRI President Stephen R. Yurek to the position of chief executive officer. He’ll continue to serve as AHRI president, a position he’s held since 2007.
“We’re pleased to promote Steve to CEO,” says Ray Hoglund, AHRI Chairman. “His leadership skills, his knowledge of the industry, and his forward-thinking approach to AHRI as a global association have inspired confidence in the membership, and make his ascension to CEO a natural progression.”
Yurek joined AHRI in 2002 as vice president of policy and public affairs and general counsel. In 2006, he was promoted to the newly-created position of chief operating officer. ahri.org
