    March 19, 2010
Steril-Aire, Inc. announced that it had signed an agreement with SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO) to distribute the new SANYO professional Air Washer Plus™.

Steril-Aire, Inc. of Burbank, CA, announced that it had signed an agreement with SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO) to distribute the new SANYO professional Air Washer Plus™, an air purification system that uses electrolyzed water technology to suppress airborne bacteria, allergens, particulates, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Steril-Aire, a leader in providing green, sustainable solutions for indoor air quality and energy efficiency, will initially distribute the product through its extensive network of trained representatives and distributors in the United States and Canada, with plans to roll out the program to Latin America.

Sources say the professional Air Washer Plus is the first system of its kind to use electrolyzed water for air treatment. It safely and effectively purifies more than 20,000 cu. ft. per hour of indoor air. The SANYO air purification system uses electrolyzed water technology to transform ordinary tap water to safely remove up to 99% of airborne germs, dust particles, allergens, odors, smoke and VOCs without using harmful chemicals or generating ozone. Applications include commercial offices, government buildings, classrooms and dormitories, pharmacies, medical clinics and waiting rooms, airports, stores, senior facilities, shelters, prisons, hotels and residential complexes.

“Our company has always been associated with new technology solutions for cleaner air and healthier buildings,” says Steril-Aire president Robert Scheir, PhD. “We're pleased to partner with SANYO in marketing the innovative professional Air Washer Plus air purification system.”

Steril-Aire will offer leasing and purchase options to potential customers as well as installation and service programs through its authorized network.
