Three of Trane's leading channel partners received Pacesetter awards during Trane's recent Annual Awards Banquet in February. The Pacesetter Award is given to the company’s top-performing sales channels, recognizing both Dealer Sales Offices (DSO) and Independent Wholesale Distributors (IWD). There are three groups within the DSO and IWD channels that receive the award based on market share and size.
Weighted metrics around performance are used to determine the winners in each group.
Group One Winner: DSO – Dallas (tenth Pacesetter Award);
IWD – Gensco, Inc. (first Pacesetter Award)
Group Two Winner: DSO – Phoenix (tenth Pacesetter Award)
Group Three Winner: Mid South (third Paceseetter Award);
IWD – The Star Supply Co. (sixth Pacesetter Award)

The Pacesetter Awards were presented at Trane’s annual awards banquet on Feb. 28, 2012 at the Melia Cabo Real Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
