Unified Group to Host Controls Technical Training Class

The Unified Group, Broadview, IL, will host controls training for its members, March 15th-18th in Nashville, TN.

Attendees will learn basic control theory, troubleshooting peripheral equipment, input-output troubleshooting, valve sizing, actuators, and signal generator operation.

“Our goal with this training session is help to eliminate the “fear factor” and intimidation involved when a technician views a control panel,” says Julie Bishop, executive director. “This session, like all of our meetings, provides a great opportunity for our members to share and learn from each other’s real world experience.” The three day class will be geared toward the technician who has limited to no controls experience, but who is eager to learn more.

The Unified Group is an independent association of more than 50 elite HVAC commercial contractors in the U.S. representing over $1 billion in revenue. The group specializes in helping its members increase productivity, profitability, and customer retention by providing training opportunities, exchanging information, sharing best practices, and negotiating purchasing agreements. It also serves as a network to pursue national and regional business opportunities.
