The new headquarters is just 50 miles south of its previous office in Londonderry, New Hampshire, which Bosch still uses for operational functions.
Bosch Experience Center
The facility includes a Bosch Experience Center, where visitors can learn about the features and benefits of the company’s diverse portfolio of energy-efficient products.
The new facility includes comfortable and welcoming areas for employees to convene.
The NVH lab measures the sound of the AC unit, which gives Bosch the ability to test the unit’s decibel and determine what adjustments will achieve a quieter product.
Welcome from Executives
Vitor Gregorio, Bosch regional president (left) and Mike Mansuetti, president of Bosch North America, welcomed media representatives to the "Brunch with Bosch" facility open-house.
Goncarlo Costa, director of product management, took editors on a tour of the Bosch Research & Technology Center's laboratory spaces. He said there is an advantage to having the three labs situated near each other for engineering, product management and development purposes.
"Product development is an intricate process, and combining these three labs will give Bosch greater agility as well as a competitive edge in the market," Costa said.
Significant US Investments
President of Bosch North America, Mike Mansuetti, said Bosch invested $800 million in energy and building technology development in 2017.
