    Goodman Global, Inc. has introduced an Energy Star efficient, R-410A refrigerant light commercial product line that features easy installation and serviceability features, along with Goodman’s warranty coverage.     Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. has introduced VRV III — the seventh generation of the original Daikin VRV launched in 1982. Its improvements include 460V three phase power supply, capacity up to 20 tons, connections for up to 41 indoor units from one piping network, and excellent part load efficiency performance, the company says.

    The VRV III is modular, compact and lightweight. It features flexible piping and a wiring design that simplifies the entire installation process. Daikin’s VRV III’s outdoor units can be transported in building elevators without the need for special cranes or lifting equipment.

    Carrier Corp. has introduced a new series of 20-60 ton WeatherMaker large rooftop air conditioning units. The new WeatherMaker LRT series uses Puron (R-410A) refrigerant and exceeds ASHRAE 90.1-2007 efficiency requirements.

    Using Carrier’s Novation heat exchanger technology, the rooftop units provide increased corrosion protection while lessening the amount of refrigerant required, thereby minimizing maintenance and operational costs.

    Mitsubishi Electric HVAC

    The City Multi R2-Series, a variable refrigerant flow zoning (VRFZ) system from Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division, features inverter technology and simultaneous cooling and heating, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications, the company says.

    Rheem Manufacturing Company, heating and cooling division has recently expanded its growing package unit lineup with all-new light commercial Rheem and Ruud gas/ electric package units and air conditioners.

    The Rheem and Ruud RQPW 14-SEER dual-fuel heat pump and the Rheem and Ruud KPL 14-SEER package gas/electric package unit are both available in R-410A refrigerant.
