Kold-Draft Adds New Management, Sales Team

Commercial ice machine manufacturer Kold-Draft, Erie, PA, announced major changes to its management and sales teams.

Leonard Kosar, a 22-year veteran of General Electric, now serves as president and CEO. New sales managers are Jim Nordstrom (West); Mickey Gardner (Southeast); Tim Vesevick (North Central); Jim Standeford (Southwest); and Bob Weiss (Northeast).

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products Expands Tifton, GA Facility; Hires 200

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products has opened a manufacturing plant next to its current location in Tifton, GA. The addition includes 310,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing and 8,000 sq.ft. of office space.

Two hundred jobs will be added to Heatcraft's Tifton payroll as a result of the new facility. The plant includes state-of-the-art automation, robotics technology, and a component testing laboratory.

“The expanded capabilities of this facility — where commercial refrigeration units are built-to-order for customers throughout North America — will help Heatcraft Refrigeration produce a world-class product,” says Mike Vincent, Heatcraft Refrigeration's vice president of operations.

Recycled components were used in the roofing and storm drainage piping. Employees will use bicycles to go from building to building.
