• Direct Energy Acquires T.A. Kaiser

    T.A. Kaiser will become part of Direct Energy's Airtron Division.

    December 5, 2018, Houston, Tex. – Direct Energy, one of the largest energy and energy-related services providers in North America and a subsidiary of Centrica plc, today announced the acquisition of T.A. Kaiser Heating & Air, Inc., a multi-city HVAC installation, repair and maintenance company for residential new construction properties. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kaiser Heating & Air has office locations in Indianapolis, Charlotte, Raleigh and Nashville and will become part of Direct Energy’s Airtron division, a leading HVAC services provider for residential new construction in various U.S. regions.

    Kaiser Heating & Air was founded in 1987 by Tim Kaiser and was subsequently owned and operated by Mr. Kaiser’s son, Chris Kaiser. Kaiser Heating & Air has established many local and regional homebuilder relationships, growing its footprint across the Midwest into four major metropolitan areas.
