LAS VEGAS, NV -- Goettl Air Conditioning is growing fast in the Las Vegas Valley. Goettls’ purchase of Moore Air Conditioning, a 50+ year old company, is adding 300+ years of technical expertise to the Goettl Team.

“This acquisition continues to enable Goettls’ commitment to provide our customers the best technicians in the industry” states Ken Goodrich, CEO of Goettl Air Conditioning. “The addition of Moores’ team of highly experienced climate control specialists enhances Goettls’ ability to continue to grow and provide the highest quality air conditioning services to the Las Vegas valley”

Goettl is positioning to become the primary residential air conditioning service provider in the Las Vegas market, with plans to grow the business 50% in 2017 and the addition of 100+ employees over the next 12 months.

Technicians will be sourced through the College of Southern Nevada air condition technology program, where Goodrich created an endowment forming the J. Duncan Goodrich Air Conditioning Technology Program, in honor of his father. Goodrich also sponsors the Kenneth D. Goodrich CSN Post-9/11 Veteran HVAC Employment Program to help create job opportunities for veterans.

Bill Moore, president of Moore Air Conditioning states “I look forward to Goettl continuing the legacy of providing superior residential services that we built in this market, the leadership team at Goettl and I share a lot of mutual respect for each other.”

Goettl Air Conditioning was originally created by Gust and Adam Goettl in 1939 and came to the Las Vegas Valley in 1968. As a result of the recession, the company left Southern Nevada in 2007. Ken Goodrich purchased the Arizona company in 2013 and, in April 2016, brought it back to his hometown of Las Vegas, where his love of the Goettl product first began.

As a 10-year-old boy, Goodrich held the flashlight when his father went out on evening service calls; as he worked, the soft-spoken patriarch imparted knowledge and wisdom that would stay with Goodrich for life: “When a person needs help, you respond right away, not when it’s convenient for you;” “Always do the right thing;” and “The Goettl Iron Horse is a magnificent machine; nothing else even comes close.”
